The site https://khayal.digital uses technical cookies and, subject to consent, statistical analysis tools. This notice is drafted in accordance with the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Guidelines of 10 June 2021 on cookies and other tracking tools and with the GDPR.
What cookies and similar tools are
Cookies are small text files saved on the user’s device during navigation. They may be installed by the site visited (first-party cookies) or by other domains (third-party cookies).
Under Art. 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (“ePrivacy”) and EDPB Guidelines 03/2023 on its technical scope, other local storage mechanisms on the user’s device — such as localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, fingerprinting techniques and tracking pixels — are subject to analogous rules. The site uses only localStorage for the technical purpose described below.
Types of cookies used
1. Technical cookies (always active)
Necessary for the proper functioning of the site. They do not require the user’s consent. They include cookies storing the user’s cookie preferences themselves.
2. Third-party analytical cookies (consent-based)
The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) to collect aggregated and anonymised statistical data on the use of the site. The IP address is anonymised before transmission. These cookies are only activated after the user has given consent via the banner.

Consent management
On the first visit, a banner is shown that lets the user:
- Accept all cookies (including analytics);
- Reject all non-strictly-necessary cookies;
- Customise their preferences by individually choosing which categories of cookies to enable.
The choice is stored for 6 months in the browser; after that period the banner will be shown again. Preferences can be changed at any time via the “Manage cookies” button in the site footer.
Until the user gives consent, analytical cookies are not installed thanks to the implementation of Google Consent Mode v2 with default state denied.

Vercel
Hosting and CDN service provided by Vercel Inc. (USA). It does not install tracking cookies on the end user; it only processes technical routing data. Vercel privacy policy.
